Former President Bush welcomes new service canine to Kennebunkport compound

Sully is the latest member of the Bush household!

Former President George H.W. Bush welcomed the yellow Labrador retriever to his Kennebunkport, ME, compound this week. Sully would be the 94-year-old’s new service canine. Sully and President Bush, a lifelong canine lover, reportedly hit it off fairly effectively.

Bush aide Evan Sisley informed Maine Public that Sully, who was educated by America’s VetDogs, can open doorways, decide up gadgets and summon assist if wanted, however “greater than anything, the canine will likely be an exquisite companion.”

A now-viral Twitter photograph confirmed Sully stress-free on the ft of Bush and former President Invoice Clinton, who visited the Maine property on Monday.

Sully will be a part of the remainder of the pack as two Bush youngsters — Neil Bush and Dorothy Bush Koch — collectively have 5 canines in Kennebunkport.
